2018 Ride for SightThe San Remo/Newhaven Lions Club is supporting the 2018 "Ride for Sight"
The Club will be providing meals and supporting the riders during their overnight stay on 13th/14th April

2018 San Remo Channel ChallengeThe San Remo/Newhaven Lions Club has supported this event for many years.
The entrants swim for 550m across the channel then run 2km across the bridge and around San Remo.
The Club supplied take away meals for 41 Life Savers who had provided support to the competitors during the race.
The Club also raised over $1000 by selling sausages, hamburgers and drinks to competitors and spectators.

RIDE FOR SIGHT 2018So sad. The rest of the ride has been called off due to the weather conditions being unsafe for it to continue. We are all disappointed but we can't do anything about the weather.
Now to Inverloch by vehicle for lunch and presentations with a little bit of light entertainment.
It's been a fabulous adventure and already our fundraising has hit a new high, with more funds yet to be received.
Congrats to committee, the cyclists, volunteers and all the Lions Clubs involved along the way for everything running to plan, on time and with safety. Again thanks to Lions for feeding us and organising accommodation and other details.
